San Francisco question...?

So, I'm going to San Francisco tomarrow, and I was wondering if anyone knew some great places to go eat, shop or just site see. I know a few places, and I read a little bit about San Fran in websites, but anyone who lives there, visits there or just knows a lot about it.. can you tell me anyting about the city I should know. Thanks

There are so many things you can do there. I live in SF, and it's awesome. Here are a few ideas:



-ride a cable car

-go to China town, walk around, and eat!

-take a tour at Alcatraz

-visit Fisherman's Warf

-go to the Ripley's Believe it or Not museum

There are over 1600 restaurants in San Francisco's and I couldn't tellyou how many shops there are. I don't know what kind of food you like it's hard to suggest a restaurant. But you can check the source below they have a list of all the great restaurants in San Francisco. My suggestion is try Union Square their is a maze of of little stores and shops and restaurants.

those places are great!

but if you're looking for something a little less touristy you could check out the haight (its basically like for hippies)

the museum of modern art is really neat

and there are some beautiful parks

sf is really nice

you should also check out berkely
