If I'm going to spend 4 nights at Yosemite what are the best sights to visit in the short time I'll be there?

You should spend a couple of days in the Valley, doing short day hikes to Vernal, Bridalveil and Yosemite Falls. You can also rent a bike and bike around the trails in the Valley or go up to Mirror Lake.



With four days, you should go up to Tuolomne Meadows. It is about 45-60 minutes up out of the Valley, but it is gorgeous and worth the trip. You can also stop at Tenaya or Tioga Lakes for a picnic. The views back over the Valley are spectacular.

Yosemite has much to offer and it depends on the time. Winter skiing, hikes, museums, photography, visiting the surrounding communities as a day trip such as Mariposa, Sonora, going over the pass assuming its open. Bring lots of film or your digital as there is much to see. Try Yahoo Travel as there are muliple photos that have been posted.



In addition there are some nice resturants.

Four nights is a long time and you can see plenty. There are waterfalls in the valley, be sure to see all of the valley. Then make sure you take the road which takes you up to the high country so you can see the valley from above. I don't remember the name of the road, but you will see it on the park map. From the top you can see almost all of the valley.
