Hello,
my dad is in the US at the moment, SF to be exact, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
He asked me to find electronics store that are in the area. How can I find one? Or is there any popular store there?
The thing is, I wanna get a Nexus 6 phone, and a pair of Bose QC25 headphones. What stores would you guys sell them in that area?

There are the regular Radio Shacks and Best Buys and so forth, just like you have most places. But the SF area also has two 'regional' chains that I just love. The smaller one is Central Computer, which has a store in San Francisco (but I don't know if they do cellphones). The larger one is Fry's Electronics, which is just a wonderful source for anything you need that electricity goes through, from individual components up to computers, up to major appliances like refrigerators.

There is no Fry's in San Francisco, though. The nearest one is in Concord, about 30 mi. away, but there's another one in Palo Alto that's probably the biggest in the chain that's 34 mi. away but you don't have to cross a bridge (so you save the $5 toll).

There's are Radio Shacks around the place (on Pine St. at about Montgomery; there is at least one other but I can't for the life of me remember which streets it's on). Best Buys would be a bit farther away--on Masonic and Geary (it's a fast drive but you can get there via the 38 Geary bus too). Does Target sell that sort of stuff (there's a Target by the Metreon movie theater, 4th & Mission)? There are a lot of shops selling phones and headsets but since they aren't known names, I'd be a bit leery about buying from them.

There are actually quite a number of stores in the area. May I suggest that your father speak to the concierge at the hotel, whose job it is to know these things.
