Check this website out, it shows the major airports closest to Fort Bragg.

As another poster just said ... Oakland or San Francisco ... but I see that Santa Rosa Airport is set to get commercial service again soon (possibly this summer) ... that would clip about 60 miles off an otherwise very long drive. From Oakland, you will need about 4 hours to get to Ft. Bragg - but the drive is worth it. From Cloverdale on it's a very narrow, windy trip through the Anderson Valley. Be sure you stop in Boonville and pick up some literature on the local language (Boont Harpin), and in Mendocino to check out the bistros and funky shops. Fort Bragg is a beautiful spot - and YES it's in Northern California, at the northern edge of Mendocino County. Don't forget the Skunk Train.

Fort bragg is in North Carolina not California.

San Francisco or Sacramento, probably. It will be a couple hours drive from either airport.
Oakland or San Jose could also work, and sometimes flights there are less expensive.

For one, Fort Bragg is in N.C., isn't it?
